Depakotte and freight gain?

My bipolar meds seem to hold caused me to gain over 50 pounds contained by the last year what eles is out within to replace depakotte ????Depakotte and freight gain?
There are a wide array of mood-stabilizers from which to choose. Your doc is in the best position to give support to you make these sorts of decision. Other alternatives include lamictal, neurontin, lithium, topamax (this may help you drop the pounds you gain on Depakote, interestingly), and others.

Unfortunately, many of the mood-stabilizers are responsible for cause weight gain. However, ask your doctor something like Lamictal or Topomax. Lamictal is supposedly weight-neutral and Topomax usually causes populace to lose weight.
These may not work for you, but it is worth a try. Don't ask something like Lithium because it causes alot of freight gain in folks.
