Difference between cipramil and prozac?

There isn't much difference.They are both SSRI's-Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors.
The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) block the ability of the bottle endings to bind and break down serotonin so that more serotonin is available to serve the brain process nerves messages more efficiently and correctly.
They are both selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors so from impossible to tell apart group of drugs and have similar properties. In my experience prozac make people a bit more anxous for the first week so I prefer cipramil
As they are both similar remember what Cipramil may do to u Prozac may not & vice versa. One may work on u & not the other.
Prozac and Cipramil(Citalopram/Celexa) are both from the SSRI group of anti depressants. Although they both act upon the serotonin level in the brain, they are impressively different.
Prozac has a more stimulating effect; it can also lift up to six weeks to begin working properly. In extra, Prozac remains in the system for much longer so lots people find that after they've be on it for a while, they can reduce the dose - but single with the agreement of their doctor, palpably.
Cipramil is less stimulating and leaves the system more swiftly. It's a newer medication than Prozac and some experts believe it have fewer side effects.
Speaking from personal experience, I found Prozac far better than Cipramil; when I be on Citalopram I felt constantly tired, especially miserable, and could not stop yawning.
Either medication can work really well, though, it adjectives depends on the individual and which one 'clicks' with your chemistry.
