No, it is not true. I took one for a year and stopped (within three days). I'm fine. (You should check beside your doctor if you plan to stop taking them though).

Not true. You only just must come off them little by little. They tell you to consult your doctor as he can instruct you.
No. Some those will need medication for vivacity. Me, for instance, since I'm bipolar. Many people who help yourself to anti-depressants are on them for a while and can gradually ween past its sell-by date them when they feel better next to no negative consequences.
